Our research committee is responsible for supporting, encouraging and facilitating research activities in Netcare, supported by Netcare Education. This includes the governance of clinical trials.

The key deliverables of the research committee include:

• An annual research report.
• Regular research newsletters.
• Staff development workshops that cover research matters such as supervision, funding sources and research grant applications.
• Encouraging external researchers to undertake research with individuals or groups of researchers within Netcare. Joint venture partnerships with various professional and educational institutions enhance research activities to the benefit of the entire medical community.
• Increasing the dissemination of knowledge by inviting prominent figures to deliver presentations on topical issues.
