The Netcare Linmed Hospital opened its doors in 1993 with 100 beds. It currently operates as a 172 bed hospital with six theatres including medical, surgical, paediatric and maternity wards, an intensive care unit, neo natal intensive care and Psychiatric facilities.

This is a state-of-the art facility that provides a 24-hour accident and emergency unit. Apart from providing the best professional emergency and trauma services, the facilities also include a 32 slice CT Scanner plus the benefit of having the following specialists on call: Orthopaedic Surgery, Gynaecology, Maxillo Facial, Neuro Surgery, General Surgery, Physicians, Urologists,
Psychiatric and Paediatricians complete the 360° emergency care offered.
