Lip and Palate Programme
The programme is dedicated to treating
children with this condition. Support and education is provided to the families
of the affected children. Treatment takes place within a multi-disciplinary
medical team to ensure that each child is treated holistically.

Voice and Swallowing Centre
The centre specialises in the diagnosis and
treatment of patients with voice, airway, speech and swallowing problems.
Patients range from professional actors and singers, to patients that have
problems from neurological conditions and other trauma. The treatment of all
patients takes place in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Ophthalmology
Netcare Park Lane Hospital offers a
comprehensive Ophthalmological service. All surgery is done at the hospital,
and we cater for all aspects of eye health including cataracts, glaucoma, eye
disease and pathology to name a few.
Fertility
Centre
The centre specialises in all aspects of
reproductive medicine, including the management of infertility. They aim to
combine the latest technology with personalised care. In addition, they
maintain strong academic links with international fertility centres.
Neonatal
ICU
Our
state-of-the-art Neonatal ICU combines the best in nursing care with the latest
medical technology available. The unit has 35 beds with 14 paediatricians in
attendance. We cater for the needs of all neonates up to the age of three
months. We value the importance of the family in the treatment of the child,
and you can be at your baby’s side 24 hours a day.
Radiology Department
We offer a specialized radiology service emphasizing women and children’s imaging. The Women’s imaging includes a dedicated mammography center, as well as obstetric and gynaecological studies. The paediatric imaging service is tailored specifically for children, from neonates through to adolescents.
