Netcare Sunward Park Hospital is conveniently situated near two shopping malls. It is easily accessible from Midrand, Pretoria and Johannesburg and is only 15 minutes away from OR Thambo International Airport. The hospital is a 214 bed facility that was established more than 17 years ago. This multi-disciplinary facility in Boksburg is known for its exceptional patient care. The hospital facilities are set in a tranquil garden atmosphere that is relaxing and calming to patients and visitors.
The hospital has recently undergone major renovations that includes a new hospital entrance, upgrading of admission facilities, retail pharmacy, a new accident and emergency unit, adult and paediatric units, ICU and high care beds, new consulting rooms for specialists, radiology department upgrades, Netcafé, improved Storks Nest facility and bigger parking area.

Visiting Hours General Wards
Daily from 15h00 to 16h00 and 19h00 to 20h00. Limited to only 2 visitors per bed. No children under the age of 12 will be allowed to visit.
Intensive Care Unit
Visiting Hours: 10:00 to 11:00, 15:00 to 16:00 &19:00 to 20:00.
Only close family members may visit and only 2 visitors at a time. No children under 12 years are allowed in the Unit.
Patients may not receive flowers in the ICU. Depending on the operation and condition of the patient, they may receive sweets and chocolates.
Paediatric Ward.
Only close family members may visit and only 2 visitors at a time. No children are allowed in the Unit.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Parents can visit all day until 21h00. Grandparent’s only allowed to visit on Sundays
