Netcare's Pregnancy Awareness Week

The 12th to 18th February is Pregnancy Awareness Week. As the leader in private healthcare, Netcare is taking this opportunity to educate expectant mothers on the importance of good health during pregnancy. As part of a national Marketing campaign, we will be reminding expectant mothers of the importance of regular screenings or check-ups as these are an important part of ante-natal care.

During Pregnancy Awareness Week, through print media, we will be inviting mothers-to-be to visit Netcare hospitals, Medicross and Prime Cure medical centres for free screenings for blood pressure and blood sugar. Abnormal levels of blood sugar and blood pressure may develop during pregnancy and could be life-threatening if not identified and treated early.

At the screenings Stork?s Nest (the Netcare maternity service offering) will also be offering visitors valuable advice and a variety of gifts and special offers.

The screenings will take place at Netcare Hospitals, Medicross and Prime Cure medical centres on the following dates:
