The Bump, Birth and Beyond Expo is an event not to be missed for mothers-to-be and new parents in Johannesburg. A wealth of information from obstetric and maternity experts, fun activities for children, and plenty of baby-related inspiration await in a weekend dedicated to preparing for parenthood.
Specialised maternity facility Netcare Park Lane Hospital, which has served Johannesburg families for generations, is hosting the Bump, Birth and Beyond Expo on Saturday and Sunday, 28 and 28 March 2026, at the Hazeldene Hall opposite the hospital.

Organised under the theme ‘Expert care for generations’, obstetric and maternity experts will share their insights on topics ranging from ‘Your body, your baby, your birth: Understanding the science behind pregnancy’ and ‘What to do if your newborn is choking’ to ‘The fourth trimester: What no one tells you about life after birth’, and many more.
“This event is a celebration of the miracle of pregnancy and babies, and an opportunity for mothers-to-be and parents of young children to broaden their knowledge of useful and fascinating facets of this journey,” says Endri Kruger, general manager of Netcare Park Lane Hospital.
The Bump, Birth and Beyond Expo offers the chance to meet the caring obstetric and maternity team, ask any questions about your hospital stay, and explore an array of helpful and trusted products for mothers and babies.
