Netcare 911 paramedics, rapid response vehicles and ambulances provide a reassuring presence at local, provincial, national and international sporting and other events across South Africa.
We manage medical emergencies at major outdoor and public events across South Africa — from global and local sports matches to congresses and conferences. Under the requirements of the SASRIA Act, we conduct a comprehensive risk assessment and draw up a thorough medical plan to ensure that we provide for the level of risk and the right number of resources. Through our state of the art aeromedical services and road rescue units, and the Netcare Group’s extensive private hospital network, we provide you with an end-to-end medical service.
Access model
The Netcare 911 events division will provide a comprehensive quote, based on the risk and requirements of the event.
Upon acceptance of the quote an event manager will be appointed to coordinate and manage the event. An emergency plan will be developed to ensure end-to-end compliance with the joint operations centre (JOC) requirements.
WHY CHOOSE EVENTS EMS COVER?

Transfer of injured or ill athletes, spectators or delegates from the site to the nearest, most appropriate medical facility, as well as inter-facility transfers.
