Netcare 911's medical scheme EMS cover offers schemes a choice of a capitated or access payment models, with structured member benefits and the widest range of rapid response services available in SA, coordinated through our 24/7 emergency operation centre (EOC).

  • All interactions are recorded on our CareNet system at the EOC, for security reasons and in compliance with the POPI Act, 2021.

  • Assistance with emergency evacuations and/or mock drills at client premises.

  • Access to virtual consultations and Netcare appointmed™ appointment booking services with specialists, GPs and dentists.

  • Assistance and support at company events on request.

  • Monthly operational meetings and reporting.

  • Transport on discharge from hospital to home, old-age facility, frail care centre, rehabilitation centre (specialist care), step-down (sub-acute) facility, or hospice.

  • Service provider management on behalf of client.

  • Netcare app offered to members at no cost.

  • Transfer and return of patients to medical facilities for diagnostic purposes or medical procedures.

  • First aid training for employees and member education on health topics.

With Netcare 911's Health-on-Line, assistance and advice in both emergency and non-emergency situations are just a phone call away.

We do our utmost to provide access to advice in a caller’s home language but, unfortunately, this is not always possible. However, our agents are fluent in English, Afrikaans, Sotho and Zulu.
